I’m much more of a Fender man and I’ve had 2 cs r8s that I’ve moved on. I got my last from Peach and it was lovely, but I’ve got a maybach Lester that’s better in every way. Lighter weight, better finish, better pickups, more resonant. 

I know all of this, but if a lightweight dirty lemon comes up at that price I’m screwed and I’m trying to explain to the missus who knows I don’t particularly like les Paul’s, why I’ve just dropped £2,500

I always get a bit confused with new Gibsons....are these the same spec as my 2014 Historic LP 58....long tenons and stuff?

I think they share a lot of specs with the former true historics? Could be wrong.

Sounds like there are more on the way and maybe they’ll be even better :-)

They are sending it back to the Custom Shop where Tom Murphy is gonna finish the job and add £4k to the invoice price.
