Bought for a project I've since u-turned on

Has been installed in a guitar but barely used.  All the hookup wire is still there

I was genuinely surprised at how good it sounds in neck position.  Loads of clarity and definition with no harshness or mud

Hi @bignorm, it's in a guitar at the moment, maybe in a month or two though. Got some selling and chopping and changing to do

How does it shape up compared to a standard sized Humbucker?

@bignorm it sits somewhere between a PAF and a P90.  I believe the coils are offset and the narrow field means it senses a shorter string section than a regular HB

There's only one flavour of Super Distortion, it's high output 13.5k, you could potentially use it in neck position if you're a complete nutter:
