Using a Helix for other Instruments

I was visiting Kew Gardens yesterday and there was a Cellist playing with their Cello running through a Line6 Helix. From what I could tell they were only running a reverb on the sound and possible some EQ so it was a bit overkill.

It got me thinking, does anyone here use the Helix for anything non-guitar?

I mic up my kazoo, but then only use the bit crusher.

I did a gig once and we had a fairly catastrophic power failure. Ended up with the drummer playing just acoustically and me, the bass player, keyboard player and vocalist all going through helix into one pa cab. Actually sounded awesome.

I've used it with my keyboard in the past. The main reason was to get a good sound for the keyboard intro on won't get fooled again, and it was far easier to program the necessary effects into the helix than the keyboard I was using at the time. It also sounded much better.

I ran the keyboard into one of the loop returns so that I had the guitar and keyboard both connected at the same time and I then just set up a dedicated keyboard patch. It worked really well.

I've used it on cello.

It's very difficult working the looper and playing a cello at the same time.
