What's a fair price for faulty amp?

My Laney Cub 10 has been giving me problems again where it loses all power randomly. I have someone who is interested in it but I have no idea what a fair price is?
When it works it's super , but it's just a bit unreliable.

Is £50 enough, too much etc?

TBH, that sounds fair to me.

That’s fair. Even the worst-case scenario - a faulty transformer - should make that economically repairable, or worth that for the remaining parts.

If it’s not that bad the buyer could be getting a bargain, but I wouldn’t want to pay much more without having a better idea of the problem.

Didn't the CUB series have some sort of problem with the switch? I seem to recall it having something to do with a thermal cut-out. I'm not technical in the slightest but have you investigated that?
