    Thanks for posting that.

    I always wanted an MPC. My mate had one and I loved messing around on it.

    I never really got into J Dilla himself. I became aware of him through his collabs with Madlib. Got some listening to do!

    I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin

    But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to

    I'll have a listen while I'm at work today.

    Cheers @duotone. I enjoyed that.

    I had no idea how prolific he was, and just how many artists he recorded with.

    Yeah he has worked with loads.  There is probably some beats etc. that he has done that people still don’t know we’re by him.

    Glad you enjoyed it!  I’ve listened to it 3 or 4 times over the years !

    Never would have expected to have seen someone mentioned the MPC3000 or Dilla here!  Dilla's Donuts is one of my all time favourite albums and his Madlib collaboration 'Champion Sound' has some great tunes on it.

    The MPC3000 is a really famous sampler, used by DJ Shadow as well.

    Thanks for posting it.

    J Dilla was not credited but played a crucial role in what I think is the best hiphop album of all time- Voodoo by D'Angelo.

    @octatonic ;;

    It's an album I haven't listened to in ages, but will give a listen to today.

    Edit: Listened to half of the album today. I had forgotten how feminine D’Angelos voice sounds.
