Anyone with knowledge of RGT Acoustic syllabus?

I'm working my way through this (starting at level 1, I really am that bad) and it's all pretty straight forwards, but I'm a bit confused by what is expected of me in the accompaniment section. It gives an example of what you're supposed to play, are you supposed to play that or are you expected to make up a rhythm pattern? This is probably really obvious, but I just want to make sure.

thought that's what it meant. That means being creative, not my strong suit, being creative.

I just did a sort of arpeggiated strum thing, sort of Eagles slow song style.

It worked, barely.

cool. I don't really have much intention of sitting the actual exams, so it's difficult to know if what I come up with is to standard, but at least I know what I need to be aiming at.
