So, update, I tried a Duvell and a Regius and liked them both. Loved the Duvell though. Sound awesome!

What swung it toward the Jackson?

The tone and resonance overall. The Mayones was a lot brighter, whereas the Jackson sounded huge yet still clear. 

The Jackson was just on another level with its resonance. Much like a Blackmachine in that respect.
