Not Scared!

Tonight I am playing an open mic night with my two neighbours, Mick on guitar and David (who is a pro drummer) on cajon.  It might not seem a big deal to most of you BUT I so want to share this with someone!  I am not scared!!  Not at all.  I am just really REALLY looking forward to it.  

My playing is no different really to last time, I am still just an open chords strummer.  There are no great solo’s for me sadly and I very much know my place but for some reason I feel so much better about tonight.  So sorry for gushing about it but I haven’t got anybody else I can tell that would understand and appreciate that to me it feels like a real breakthrough!  A really important first!

Thank you for putting up with me enthusing about what amounts to nothing in reality!
