I'm no Foo Fighters Fan Boy but their 2002 appearance was very good. Considering that TV music shows tend to be pretty tight on time for any sound check / rehearsal - the sound on this one is pretty impressive.

The Darkness were superb on Jools. I’m not a mega fan but when Justin climbed on the top of the piano and did that Townsend leap off the top, I thought “wow!”

he also played ferry ... but cant find the jools performance , i remember that night ... the bad old days i was so drunk waiting for pat to come on, i watched these 2 tunes and cried my fucking heart out because i knew i would never come close to having a voice like this on guitar ............ X

First time I heard Adele sing Someone Like You was on Later. By far her best version, she lowers the pitch of the chorus so she can use her belter voice ans it's a cracking song to start with

I like the show, except for two things:

1. The presenter when he talks.

2. The presenter when he guest features himself with the acts and insists on playing out of place twiddles on the piano.
