Gibson Les Paul Classic Pickguard

I'm looking to replace my Les Paul Classic pickguard with one that doesn't say '1960' on it. Do I need a specific type such as the Historic Spec or will the Gibson Pure one fit?

Thanks

But for less effort, an invisible one always fits perfectly and looks better.
