  • Seen it now and again. Some of the wimmin look all right.
"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

I don't understand dancing - some twerp in tight clothes and way too much makeup telling another twerp in tight clothes and way too much makeup that, given the vibrations they are hearing, they are moving their limbs in a correct or incorrect way.

    Please.

It's yet another way of trying to make music part of the lives of people who have no musical sense or taste but like to clap.

  • I’d rather shag the missus than watch that tripe with her  :# :3

    I blame @Bridgehouse and @thomasross20 ;

  • I can take it or leave it. Only watch cos the missus watches it. However I left her to it last night cos I couldn't  take watching that judge who waves his arms around and falls off his chair.

Who was the bird who was photographed with her male dancing partners tongue down her throat? Apparently her husband works on the show and seems none too bothered.

Apparently I’m going to be in a minority here, but I really don’t mind it. It’s quite entertaining in fact.

And I don’t want to lower the tone, but I find Darcy Bussell most agreeable.
I don’t have a gambling problem, I’m winning, and winning is not a problem for me. That’s like saying that Iron Maiden have an awesomeness problem.

Didn’t have it on last night as I was spending the evening on a car park in Calais but if I’m in it tends to be on - I just dip in and out whilst doing something else. My son’s girlfriend has the X Factor repeat on Sundays and I have watched it in the past and Strictly is just much more pleasant and honest than that bag of shite.

It's OK.  The female members of the Bod household are nuts for it, and it gives them so much pleasure that I find it hard to pour scorn on.  I tend to go and do something else, but I keep one eye on who's in/out etc.  The X Factor/Britain's Got Talent is so contrived and dishonest by comparison - it's purely engineered to line Cowell's pockets.

Our Maud likes it, which is strange because she's an even worse dancer than me, and I've got 3 left feet.

Mostly I ignore it, but I frequently wince at the horrible musical arrangements they contrive...

Me and mrsrlw love the show.  I particularly like Darcy who seems to improve with age, and several of the female professionals are, indisputably, rather attractive.  As for Kate Silverton dressed as Jessica Rabbit. ;)

Considering they have to do 12 odd different songs every single week, I think they do bloody well. The singers are especially good, again considering there’s only four of them and they have to cover a whole range of styles.

Wife watches it. I use the time to paint.

Once it finishes, I stick on some black metal in a cultural exchange.

Yes, I agree they perform well, it's just that they have to work with crap arrangements, missing out whole chunks of a song to make it fit the choreography.
