As some of you will be aware, Frank Zappa and Don Van Vliet (AKA Captain Beefheart) we’re both at school together in the same year. Both Outsiders yet both managed to make it in their field. I wonder if their are any other examples of two willfully obscure cultural icons being at school together?

Sorry, I did google this. Lot of celebs who I vaguely know who they are but the interesting pairing seemed to be Snoop Dog and Cameron Diaz who went to high school together in Long Beach.
