I've decided that I'm heading into sparkly clean territory (with a ThorpyFX Peacekeeper upfront) and I'm going the route of Pedal Steel, which needs supreme cleans, so I've gone and got myself a Carr Rambler and am selling my J20 and Cruiser Deuce.

Both in tremendous condition, and yours for £2000 for the pair plus shipping. I have the original box for the J with corners etc.
No Cruiser box though.

I'd split for £1800 for the J20 and £200 for the Cruiser. CRUISER NOW SOLD. No offers on the J thanks. LJ20 NOW SOLD

I don't have pics of the Cruiser, but can take some if you need. It's just a Cruiser Deuce and looks exactly like one! Velcro fee.

Just heard from Jesse that he built it early 2017. So it's really new!

For me, this is the perfect Lazy J specification...

The LJ amp verb and trem are average at best imho, and pedals always provided it better for me.
This would be the spec Id buy, if I was after a LJ again.

    Great amp mate, and GLWTS

totally agree...........the verb and term is a poor afterthought........and a crappy Heath Robinson set up ......this is the spec to have for sure .........maybe spend the difference on a Strymon Flint and you have a premier set up

The Lazy J reverb and trem (especially), is better than a digital-sounding Flint IMHO. Anyway, apols for the derail, but have a bump for a fantastic amp!

I rather like the reverb too! Nice having it after the amps overdrive. But the best bit is the amp - so have a bump :-)

  • I absolutely love the in house reverb and trem installed in my LazyJ20.
    The real deal in IMHO.
Still...i also love it dry without any effects just like this one being advertised! :)
Have another bump on me! :)

If I was expected to wait 3 months and pay 2.5 grand for an amp then I would expect the reverb and trem to be top class.
I am therefore surprised to read that some people find the ones in a Lazy J to be average/poor.
Nice amp and glwts and have a bump from me.

I have the fully loaded J20 and the valve driven reverb & vibrato are outstanding, I completely disagree with those against but having said that, as they’re all hand built and tubes can alter over time, there are factors in changes to the ‘outstandability’. New word, you can have that
I've had that one ages darling

    I totally agree with @Namaqua.
    I have a fully loaded J20.
For me, the reverb and trem are phenomenal.
All down to personal taste though.
    Perhaps phenomenability?!
I love a genuine valve bias trem and a genuine valve powered verb.
    Others prefer digital simulations....
If i had the money...i'd buy another J20.
    GLWTS!
