Looking for some good blues stuff to do

I'm looking for some suggestions of some good blues music...more modern than anything ..band is guitar bass drums keys and vocals...does anyone have suggestions for some good songs that will go down well ..mainly for festivals and stuff

Depends what you mean by blues. Seasick Steve goes down a storm at festivals but with your setup you could easily go the route of chucking some jazz in and going for things to make the audience get their groove on

Maybe some Dr John?



Or muck about with modern songs and play them in a blues style - try bashing out Seven Nation Army with the keys as the focus

Go back and try the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, with Mike Bloomfield and Elvin Bishop on guitars.

Many covers - "Shake Your Money-Maker", "Look Over Yonder's Wall" etc - but what a delivery.  The album cover contained the instruction to "Play this album as loud as you can!".
