It sounds to me like what she is doing is only one step down from illegal under the new laws:

I'm not suggesting that you go the legal route, just that it shows how serious the issue is, and that a lot of people go too far when trying to control their partner.

However, if you do choose to separate, I would recommend collecting some evidence now on current behaviours where possible (and save and share it to reliable third parties), so that if she does stalk or harass you later, you will be prepared if she were to cause trouble

@mark123 that post of yours tells me that she has destroyed your self-confidence and self-esteem. You are looking at the situation too negatively. I understand that totally having myself once been in the situation where escaping from a bad relationship seemed almost more daunting than staying in it. It isn't. It really isn't.

Living on your own for a while is not all gloom and doom. It actually has benefits. @fandango gave sound advice above and following it will avoid the isolation you fear. You need to regain confidence by living a more enjoyable life. At your age there is every chance you will meet a woman who is a much nicer human being so please don't hang around with one who is not.
