I saw this geezer in The Witchwood in Manchester a few years ago, he played to about 40 people for 3 1/2 hours solid. I was rendered speechless for the whole time. 

I left the gig, after Mr Emmanuel had taken the time after such a long gig to chat with my Wife for a half hour about Jerry Reed and sign a couple of things for Her, thinking I wasn't a guitar player after all. 

A consummate gentleman, a consummate musician.
