The club owner's helicopter took off from the pitch after the game and crashed into the carpark shortly afterwards. Terrible news.

Just seen this, I live close to Leicester and have friends who are fans, one of them saw the explosion from a distance. Devastating news to the family, supporters, and club.

Last report I heard, unconfirmed like, was the owner, his PA, a butler and the pilot and co-pilot were on board.

Terrible business, BBC news reporting a source close to the family that the owner was on board.

Thank heavens there seems to have been no-one on the ground where it hit, at least no reports yet.

"While there was no official statement immediately forthcoming about who was on board, or their condition, the BBC reported a source close to the Srivaddhanaprabha family as saying the club's 60-year-old chairman was on the helicopter. However, the news had yet to be confirmed early on Sunday."
