Fender '68 Custom Silverface Reissues line extension?

Duppy03Duppy03 Frets: 104
Does anyone know if these amps are selling well?

Haven't had chance to try one yet but they caught my attention as soon as they came out, mainly because of the choice between the two channels (Bassman and Blackface voiced circuits). It could be the one amp that does it all for me.

The only reason I haven't rushed out to try one is because I find 20 watts too little and 100 watts too much. I'm hoping they will extend the line in the near future with a mid powered 40 watt Pro Reverb 2x12 of 40 watt Super Reverb 4x10. Or even better a head version!

Has anybody been lucky enough to try one of these out in a band/recording situation?

  • I've used the Deluxe on a few gigs - took a while to break it in (speaker I guess ) but now sounds very sweet indeed.

I haven't tried one yet but I believe Fender are adding a Vibrolux Reverb to the line in the future.. I'm sure there is a vid on Youtube.

Too small for you I know but I have the Princeton, which really is a very sweet sounding amp indeed.
