I don’t know most of those but Keb Mo leaps out as does Alvin Youngblood Hart ( although would depend on which bit of his catalogue). Taj Mahal ( he did a joint album with Keb Mo as it happens) would be an obvious one.

Kelly Joe Phelps and John Hammond Jr are both worth checking out.

Very nice chap, Eric Bibb - I met him at one of the Colne blues festivals and bought him a beer.

He told me all about his new guitar, which had been made for him by Dave King, apparently using wood from a lightning-struck tree...

I could be misremembering but I was convinced Eric Bibb also did an album with Taj Mahal. This could be bollocks, though.

I saw Eric Bibb at the Gloucester Guildhall years ago - really nice guy, and played wonderfully - but at the time I was even more impressed by his support act, whose name I can't remember, but was a very elderly chap with slurred speech playing almost Delta-style blues. Amazing stuff.
