Gig bag recommendations

Where is the sweet spot in the gig bag market.not aonethingthatis just a bag but also not a Mono.

Locally I can either buy a cheap piece of rubbish or something similar in price to a hard case.

Any recommendations for something with a couple of pockets that provides a reasonable level of protection?

PRS SE gigbags are brilliant. I have a couple and they’ve done me proud for years of pub gigs. The bags occasionally come up second hand on eBay or gumtree.

Or, if you can find a PRS SE guitar going cheap with its original gigbag, buy it and sell the guitar but keep the bag. That’s what I did to get one of my gigbags.

I don’t really like gigbags and prefer a hard case. However the SE ones are well made and offer a great deal more protection than most I’ve seen.
