    Without watching the video I’d guess that it’s talking about no 12th fret harmonics from the neck pickup.

    6.10 in. Video should start at that point. No harmonic on the 5th fret when using the neck pickup.

  • Because the neck pickup is directly under the 24th fret.

    I haven't even watched the video either, but as soon as I saw the thread title I thought 'you're using the neck pickup'.

    Yes, as does any 21- or 22-fret guitar with a pickup at the 24th-fret position. This is why - apart from the fact that as soon as you fret any note, the harmonics are in a different place - that there's no truth in the idea that 22-fret guitars sound better than 24-fret ones 'because the neck pickup is under the harmonic node'. They do sound different, and many people think better, but that's *not* the reason.

    PRS S2 models are not entirely American. Pickups and electronics are Korean. The tuners might be too.
