24" scale heel adjust truss rod advise

What's Hot
hi all

I'm going to be making a short scale neck 24" like a jag/bronco etc
what length truss rod would one need please?

I'm attempting single way heel adjust with the anchor roughly under first fret like the original
445mm seems right for the other 25.5" neck I'm building
so I'm guessing it's probably 420 mm or something

also, anyone got a good (pref uk) link for a suitable one way rod?

thanks as usual

I have to make my own rods because i can't find what i want, it also depends on if you want a traditional one or a modern one

They're curved rods on fenders so you'll need a curved maple filler strip to match it, i would just measure the length of the board and as long as the anchor is around the first fret you'll end the channel very near the end of the fretboard but you'll need to drill for the adjuster at the heel, these are a pita to make
It's hard to explain and you'll need proper jigs to do it so the adjuster hole lines up with channel, it's also drilled at an angle because the channel is curved

I forgot you need to work out the curve you need and it does falls short of the end of the board, you need to have a look at slab board construction, there's pics floating around
