The time has come to part ways with my beloved 66 Hummingbird. I have gigged this guitar at least 8 hours a week for the past 3 or 4 years and it’s an absolute beauty.

It has had a few minor changes (improvements) in its lifetime which have all been executed extremely well. The adj bridge has been replaced with a fixed bridge which is often done to these old ‘birds to improve the tone and sustain which the original ceramic saddle and nuts/bolts arguably affect.

The neck was reset and refretted by Dave King who specialises in this and it’s a perfect job.

It has been fitted with a sound hole pickup which has been removed so the end pin is the redundant jack at the moment but i’m going to get a Taylor/Larrivee style oversized pin for it soon.

I’m looking for £2950 for this beautiful, iconic vintage Gibson. Trials welcome in Farnham, Surrey.
