Blue Flower Telecaster Body

My main guitar was a Blue Flower Telecaster needs a new body..... after years of use it's died a death. Anyone got one at a reasonable cost :-)

On original USA Fenders, the wallpaper was notorious for becoming detached and chunks of the clear coat would drop off.

I have never seen this occur on the MIJ/CIJ re-issues.

The problem with that body is the neck pocket size, which is 57mm, so a tad wider than standard necks.

That's fine. It's if the pocket is narrower than the neck that you have a problem.

The Electrics are OK now. But as stated the wallpaper has detached and the clear coat flaked off :-(

Which is fine for nitro, but not poly.

Sounds like there has been some sort of reaction to excessive heat somewhere?

Buy a Jap reissue and sell what you don’t need and it’ll be near as dammit free, especially when you sell the “Relic” body as well
