Toska - Fire by the Silos

I think the spoken word tracks let this down slightly... but this is incredible. If you enjoy any kind of modern progressive rock/metal this is essential.

Fire by the Silo's is great - saw them in Manchester on their tour. Friend's band was supporting them so i got a chance to have a little chat with them too.

You're right about the talking bit though..

I would normally completely agree about the spoken word track but I actually really like it!!! 

The fact that it’s a poem/piece/whatever about the evils of society and consumerism on a track by a band who have made it big on social media by selling their souls for sponsorship deals did grate a touch tho! 

But im a huge fan of them in general though. I think it’s A great album.

I think bands such as Pelican and God Speed You Black Emperor are incredible but I am not sure about Toska at all. I am not feeling the riffs and overall groove and feel.
