Harmonium

My neighbour has a part assembled harmonium which he wants to give to a good home. I have not seen it, and have no idea of its condition. If anyone is interested, or knows someone who might be interested, them let me know and I’ll get pictures.

This is going to sound unhelpful, but I don’t know. We met in the street this morning. He told me that he’s tidying his workshop, and asked whether I knew anyone who might be interested. If the spread of his hands are anything to judge by when he described it then the keyboard is about 3 feet long.

The harmonium’s which I’ve seen are about 4 feet long with built in bench to sit on so you can work the pedals.

Knowing him I guess that it’s dusty, and needs a bit of work to get it going. If you’re interested then I’ll ask to see it, judge the condition, and take pictures.

And it was written on a harmonium that they literally found in the street in Japan.
