Hell I've looked through the Harley Benton guitars on there an explorer type for less than £90. You can buy one of those semis with a hard case for less than £150.

How about a Yamaha SA2100? Similar to a 335, but better build and brighter. I bought one for the band before last, and haven't played it since they folded. We could do a swap plus cash for your blue PRS custom 22

I had one of those, and it was very nice. But then I got a Gibson and was struck how much heavier the Gibson was compared to the Vintage, and how that translated into the sound - the V was nice, but lacked body compared to the G.

Well you and I are co-founders of the MR Mod-club iirc?! Surely we have to prove how good cheap guitars can be?! :D

I've been trying to prove it for ages, that's why I have 19 guitars lol. These two are particularly good, both Wesley's http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v375/Niallmo/014_zps7396e161.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v375/Niallmo/8015a198.jpg

What happened to Wesley guitars? I had a few of them, pretty decent, never got around to buying a Wesley Freeport (telecaster semi) but really wanted one.

I do love explorer shapes tempted by the HB one.

I think they guy who owners it decided he'd made his money and got out. In other news, I've just ordered the Harley Benton 335. I blame the 3 Budweisers, 4 glasses of Pinot Grigio and you guys for covering the cost of the two incoming Teles. It's not Incurable GAS, definitely not....

Let us know how you get on with the Harley-Benton 335

BTW I'm beginning to GAS for a Vintage VSA-575, which is on at GAK for a good price. However I've rarely bought guitars without playing them first. Should I make an exception?

Oh awesome, what colour? I really fancy one but think maybe the explorer type would suit me better right now. Though at just over £200 for both I may be worth it to save on postage :D
