Can the helix FX do this sound?

Don't see why not, but why don't you just download Helix Native and find out yourself rather than taking someone else's word for it?

ps. I've never heard that particular effect come form Helix but I've no doubt there will be a way

Sounds like some pitch shift and a swept filter, both on the same expression pedal?

If so then you'll be able to get into the same ballpark, but I'm not sure you'll exactly match it .

Is the pitch shift part of the sound, or is the guitar already tuned down to C#?

I do have helix native but this kinda sound is a bit tricky to really get to grips with without going through a real amp.

We are tuned to c# and it's it's using one of the gt10 s note tracking synthase plus a cutoff on the expression pedal in combination with some delay and distortion and stuff.

Hmm it looks like there is no note following synth in the helix. Just a fixed set of oscillators? Can anyone confirm?

I thought there were a couple of options, maybe they're in the legacy section?

there is a synth it just doesn't follow the guitar note, there's also pitch effects like whammy etc..my current thought is to go for helix and add on either a digitech bass synth wah or a behringer bsy600 but then i need a second controller for my board...which wont fit..unless i go hx fx rather than helix lt

There is definitely a synth that follows the guitar pitch.

I think it’s all the M series stuff.

There's a 3 OSC synth. It's not a legacy effect either. It's in the 'Stereo' section. It's not in the 'mono' iirc.

I only just found out yesterday there was stereo and legacy sections.....i think there may be a purchase coming on tonight

Sounds like something you might be able to get with the Growler effect. Check out 3.01 onwards or just marvel at Sean Halley's unreasonably good playing from the start.

Im gonna play with antive tonight but im pretty convinced i can get something to work..the only question is a b-stock full fat helix for £999...or a brand new LT for £750 ....hmmmmm
