Made in the Far East, but I'm hearing that they are pretty good quality. Has anyone had any experience with them? They look nice enough.

  • They look good in the demos. Same company that does the more expensive Sinvertek pedals I believe.

  • Yes, you are correct...they look a bit like Chase Bliss to me. Distributor of CKK says the owner is a real pedal enthusiast and not to dismiss them because of where they're made. Interesting.

I'm interested to see the price point on the upcoming CKK Design Select pedals Sinvertek are doing. Seems to be their 'handmade' range. Have a look at Sinvertek on Instagram, has some nice gut shots of the #ckkdesignselect builds. Upcoming stereo reverb also looks neat...

Doing an overdrive with Simon McBride as well, interesting.

  • We are thinking about stocking them and had reservations, which are probably unfoubded. I agree the Design Select range look great.

I recently got the Tremolo and I like it a lot, as a result I've just ordered the Phaser. Their compressor sounds good too, Burgs video review makes it sound like a Ross on steroids. Currently very tempted by their DelayVerb but I'll live with the phaser a while first.

I can believe that, the sweep of the controls is very well considered and the sound is very rich. They appear well made too.

I think only Gear4Music stock them in the UK at present?
They featured the Sinvertek delay on That Pedal Show a while back and were very impressed with it ( well, Dan was, it doesn't sound like SRV so Mick didn't know what to do with it...).
Would you stock the Sinvertek stuff as well as CKK?

    Hey Eric,

I would think so, they have a nice distortion pedal as well. Just getting a feel for people's opinions of them.

They have some of the Foxgear pedals too which I thought only Andertons had in the UK. I was quite interested in the Foxgear Echosex Baby but the completely half arsed Andertons video hasn't been encouraging.

Received the Robot phaser. It's a very nice sounding pedal, with a good sweep to the controls allowing for wide variety of effects, it can get quite vibe'ish or flanger-like by adjustment of speed and depth.

If I had any criticism, I would wish for a better on/off foot-switch; it gives a loud percussive click every time it's used but as the pedals sound so good I can live with that.

I have a Flaming Lips distortion that I got for £55 when Guitarguitar were clearing them out.

Very happy with it.  I fancy the phaser and reverb/echo pedal, but can't really justify more pedals at the moment.

Nothing to do with the band of the same name I assume?
