Was looking to get the ‘electric basslines No.1’ book for a mate & wanted to see if anyone had used her material to learn from before.

I had books 1 and 2 (no cd 's though) in the mid seventies when I first picked up a bass. Might still have them in the loft! They certainly got me up and running. (I can still now feel the satisfaction that I felt from being able to play the bassline for 'Good Vibrations').

Was gonna say they might be a bit dated now...but I reckon they are still a valid teaching aid.

Yeah they do look a bit outdated from just the front cover desings, but as a musician I love her.

It's a shame that there are no reviews for her books on Amazon...perhaps that has to do with the age of them.

From reading a couple of Amazon reviews it seems that Carol Kaye has a storefront & sells directly on there (although there are less books available)
