Emergency Capo - Argos

Just a quick heads up - Argos sell capos.

Might be handy if you need one last minute for a gig etc as a lot of Argos stores are open late or if like me there’s no music shop in your town open on a Sunday.

I’d set aside some time tonight to practice a new song - but then spent more time looking for my capo this morning than it will take me to actually learn the song later!

That was my first ever capo which I later upgraded to a Staedtler HB. The difference in tone and sustain was night and day. A real game changer.

Don't be silly, the grade of graphite doesn't have any effect on tone.

Maple pencils sound brighter than rosewood ones though.

I find 2H is best for a strat. 2B for a Les Paul.
