all the talk of PRS on the the main forum has got me gassing and had a wee Xmas bonus so got the cash burning a hole in my pocket

Great choices there! Those 2 along with the Mark Holcomb are the best SE's I've laid my hands on (and I've tried literally every model at one time or other). If you get either and are looking for upgrades, a TUSQ XL PT-6643-00 nut (£9) and some Vanson locking tuners (£28) are all you'll need.

I've got a Zach Myers in trampas Green.. Fitted with Seymour Duncan slash zebra pickups and also has John Mann locking tuners that I imported from the US.. Mint condition and plays great. Comes with the prs gig bag.. With the upgrades I'd be looking for £550

Isn’t there an Eastman LP in the classifieds for about that?  Seems like a great option to me given that they are built to Historic type specs, Seymour Duncans aside.
