Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl HiFi question

Looking at picking up a Warped Vinyl in the new year but it seems like the only model available now is the HiFi version.

Can this still cop the dark warped record tones of the original?

I've had them both. The HiFi is versatile and it can get close but they are actually very different. I would treat them as different pedals.

Ah ok, I'm guessing the M2 is better at the lofi warped record sound than the HiFi?

Has the MK2 been discontinued now?
