This is an ISP Vector SL 112 in excellent condition. Studio use only, there are no marks or scratches.  These units are super hard to find, especially in Europe, and along with the Rivera Los Lobottom, the only subs available for guitar.

Pickup in central London (Elephant & Castle) just outside the congestion charge zone.

Full description below the images.

£400

Because these units are unusual I thought it might be useful to give a little primer.

What does it do?

It's a powered subwoofer: it combines  a specially designed bass cabinet with bass responsive speaker and tuned ports with a 400 Watt amp and crossover.

It filters the signal from your amp, amplifying the lowest frequencies and feeding the rest to your regular guitar speaker.

How does it work?

You just plug in the speaker cable from your amp into the sub, set it to the right impedance and run another cable out to your regular speaker. If it's a combo, just unplug the combo speaker and plug it into the sub. There's a knob to adjust the level of the sub to match the amp, and once it's set you can obviously use the bass control on the amp as well.

Who would use it?

Guitar speakers aren't designed to give much bass response. They're usually focused on the midrange, don't reproduce many low frequencies and don't do it well. Bass response requires a differently designed speaker and differently designed cabs. This fills in that gap.

These are good for anyone who wants some low from their rig: whether it's rock'n'roll, giving those bass strings real thump, drone and stoner rock where a full sound is everything, bands without a bass player or guitar soundscapes where you want a full frequency sound.
