Is there an album you like that nobody else seems to?

I really like Van Halen III - the one with Gary Cherone on vocals. It seems to get universally panned by everyone but I still find it to be the VH album I most listen to.

Like any albums that get bad press all the time?

Second Coming by the stone roses was roundly criticised when it was released but is a great album.

That’s one of my favourite albums, much better than their first one!

    Duran Duran - Thank You

Listed as 'the worst album ever made' by Rolling Stone, I think.

"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski

"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein

I’m a Jethro Tull fan, and my favourites tend to be the ones others don’t like. I’d count Too Old to Rock and Roll, A Passion Play and “A” amongst the best. On the other hand, not bothered if I don’t hear Aqualung again in 2019!

I like all of Billy Squier's albums (but not all of his videos!).

    The Faust Tapes.
Most people can't stand it.. but I love it.
Saw them live in Southampton back in 1973 supported by Henry Cow... which was an experience!
My mate shouted to HC: "You're rubbish".. to which they responded: "Well at least we're English rubbish!"  :)

    Surreal is an understatement:

@schrodinger1612 I like both of those.

Although it's been a while since I listened to Never Say Die. I also like the Sabbath albums with Dio.

Druqs, though, had near universal critical acclaim when it came out. So, not sure if it's a completely left-field choice.

    Megadeth - Risk

The last couple of albums from the melodic rock period with Marty Friedman seem to be regarded with a degree of contempt, but I like them.  Better than anything they've done subsequently.

Why Should I Stand Up by The Colorblind James Experience.

One of my favourite albums and despite the band having several hits on the indie charts in the 80s ( I don't know how many records you had to sell to get to number 5 in the indie charts but some) I've yet to have anyone even acknowledge that they know of it when I've mentioned it.

I'll also throw in Cut by The Slits which just seems to get better with age despite being received as a joke album at the time.
