Very good condition (especially for a 40 year old guitar) plays and sounds great.  Now officially classed as vintage and since they stopped production, the higher end Ovations in good condition have become very much sought after so prices are going up.
Very light play wear.  ThePacemaker 12-String was a long-time staple of the Ovation line, built on the same deep bowl design as the high end guitars in the Balladeer series, it has a 1-7/8 width neck which attaches at the 12th fret, a distinctive slotted headstock and side tuners. The Pacemaker quickly gained a reputation as one of the best sounding and easiest playing 12-string guitars on the market.

First introduced in 1996, this has become one of Martin's most popular high-end models.   It has the smaller "000" body size so ideal for fingerstyle, ragtime, blues etc.  A very clear and balanced sound together with the string flexibility that the shorter 24.9 inch scale length allows. It also works very well with a pick though and has incredible volume (happily keeps up with big dreads).

Its top is solid Spruce with a vintage toner finish; the 2-piece back and sides are solid East Indian Rosewood with a gloss finish. Highlander IP2 pickup fitted, it's like an IP1 but also has the facility to plug in a microphone internally.
