Muddy Yamaha THR10.

I've got a Yammy Thr10 which as a grab and go practice amp is brilliant, however I'm a little disappointed with the high gain channels sounding really muddy.I've tried the amp with several guitars and have also tried tweaking pickup heights and the amps EQ but no matter what I do it still sounds muddy.Has anyone else experienced this as I don't know whether this is a quirk of the amp,if it's faulty or I'm doing something wrong.By the way I haven't tried running it through a computer as it seems a bit of a faff and I bought it mainly for its grab and go qualities.

  • they can be a bit directional so if you're not sat directly in front of it they can seem a bit wooly.try changing the speaker cabinet settings in the editing suite. that can make a difference too.
