Palmer Eins - any good?

Anyone know anything about the Palmer Eins?

I'm looking for a really small valve amp head to use at home, and it looks pretty cool, albeit not pretty.

    If you like higher gain, check out the Mike Fortin designed Randall RD1H for around the same price. Cleans with character can also be had from it too.

    It has three switchable EQ curves with the same valve lineup. Has balanced speaker emulated output on XLR also effects send and return jacks.

    I've not tried the Eins but I suspect the Randall is less of a one-trick pony.

    Thanks, will have a look.  But I'm not really interested in massive amounts of gain.

    I would actually prefer a one-trick pony, if it's a good pony.

    Yep. Amazing for the price. All the Palmer amps are great in my experience. Not a huge selection of features, but a fab core tone and good price.

    Yep, I have one, sounds great, super versatile, sounds great with drive pedals. FWIW I'm not using it, so if you decide to buy one let me know.

    @Exorcist - will do, thanks.

    You'll throw in that white SG Special, right?   ;)
