Amp Covers ? Any UK Makers ?

What's Hot

I need an amp cover for my new Carr Mercury V...

In the past, Ive spent a fortune on the excellent Studio Slips from USA (when I had more money than sense).

Any good UK makers who make thick amp covers ?

Cheers,
Waz

  • Agree with comments above.  Roqsolid are not only well made but, if you visit them, the staff are really helpful and friendly.

  • I’ve used both Hot Covers and Roq Solid and both provide excellent products. I think it just comes down to personal preference.

    Which do you think are thicker and offer more protection when transporting ?

    @Wazmeister ;;If it's a combo you want to protect I'd say the optional front pocket of a roqsolid cover you can spec is a massive plus when you want to protect that front speaker in transit. You put a piece of wood in that pocket which adds the protection,

    Thanks for all the advice chaps...

    But I've just had one of those "WHAT A RESULT !" moments;

    Ive been up the loft, and I've found a Custom Studio Slips (still the best covers imho) which fits exactly !!!
    It was made for my old Carr Skylark

    Red? Do they still make them in red @Wazmeister. I would've loved to have had that choice if they had a front pocket as mentioned earlier

    No mate.

    Susan at Studi Slips told me they only had access to the red for a brief period. Absolutely made up that I found it... fits like a glove too !!
