My hope was that it might be able to accomplish the same thing as my Effectrode LA-1A and the boost side of the Thorpy Dane in a much smaller footprint. And it does.
I recorded a rough demo comparing the aforementioned two pedals against the unit67. First is "clean" signal, then added LA-1A with boost engaged plus the Dane boost side, then the unit67 by itself. Be warned that it very quickly descends into mindless noodling...but maybe that's an indication of how much fun it is. I like it a lot.

Pedal settings like so...
Koko feels more distorted to me with less low end and high end and I think there's more sparkle with the drybell, especially when rolling back the guitar volume. I guess the extra features it has over the Koko boost do make a discernible difference.
More of my sonic drivel here...clean, then koko, then drybell...

Also chips are "Plant-based" no matter how you cook them.

It added a bit too much noise to my rig and I didnt think it excelled as a boost or a comp.
Might be user error, or just my rig...
