No puns, I really like that.  It's kinda '70's disco.

Saw it on the other fb a couple of days ago. I think it looks fantastic!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

Cue debate about whether body material colours the sound.

  • Does it play like butter, magnolia, gardenia, cream or buff?

  • I rather like that.

Some might say that it’s more interesting than what Fender is churning out atm. =)

    Nice rundown of the build:

It's about 10lbs so no featherweight!
A lot of work but brilliantly done. Would have been a lot lighter if he'd taken the lead out first.

Great for playing songs like 'send in the crayons', 'No woman no crayon,' or anything by Lead Zeppelin, or Lead-belly.

Now, if only he'd stuck a rubber on the headstock, it would be great for Erasure songs too.
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

I liked the bits in the video where he was drilling or routing and the sawdust came out in different colours.

    This is so cool.

It's like a cool idea someone comes up with after a joint but never actually does but he's actually done it!

The builder needs a large pencil case - anyone got one?

I love watching a guitar build and that one was really interesting - not sure I'd like such a heavy strat though!
    should've used lighter colours
I sometimes think, therefore I am intermittent
