iPad recording - Audioshare alternative?

I have an iPad 3, and run a few simple music apps, mostly one at a time. It still works fine, and I'll be taking it on some travel trips as my only music-making widget. Mostly using Groove rider GR-16 - https://www.jimaudio.pro/

No problem there, except that it would be nice to incorporate and chop samples/recordings from other apps. And that's where I run into trouble - Audioshare seems to be the best, but the only version available on the app store requires IOS 10. I'm stuck at IOS 9 on the iPad 3.

Anyone here using an older iPad successfully? What app are you using for moving sound files around?

Or if there's some way of finding and installing older versions of apps, please let me know!
