Believe the hype!  Second only to the Retro-Sonic in the list of my favourite modulation pedals.

Boss Japan are killing it with the Waza series.

I quite fancy one of these.  How do you plan to use it?  I’m thinking it can be quite subtle but add a bit if something to clean parts without being too cheesy.

  • Got one this week - liking it so far - it's just ejected my analogue man CE-2 from my board and I didnt think I'd see that day:

Not crazy about the price - half the price of a Helix HX - really :)

I just tried the TC 3rd Dimension which is a clone of the Boss. They nailed the sounds exactly but the footswitch makes a loud electronic click every time it's released so unfortunately it has to go back. Shame really as it sounds ace.

What is the SDD320 side like; just a more version of the basic unit or something different?

Well, the Behringer clone certainly nails the appropriate Cocteaus tones, so I'm sure the Waza one will.
My wife asked me to stop singing Wonderwall.
    I said maybe.....

How does it compare to the Ce2w pedal?

I have both and they're very different.  The CE2w is the classic, swirly CE1/CE2 chorus sound.  The DC2w is its own thing - cleaner, more hi-fi sounding, and more "3D" if that makes sense.   Also, much more 80s!

I use my original DC2 after a phase 90 and blend this in wet/dry via an LS2, usually for a leads. I'm not into 100% wet modulation. I like the DC2 cos you can't hear where the oscillation is really
