Don’t believe.
Don’t believe the hype.
You have to admit that it’s completely distinctive and instantly recognisable, unlike most of the recycled-parts-of-different-quirky-guitars abominations currently being put out by boutique builders...
"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski
"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein

well I'm sold, I'll have three please.
I think the key phrase is "looks amazing hung on a wall".
I don't totally hate Minarik guitars. The body shapes and sheer excess of bling are so extreme that at least they're interesting. They look like they were designed by a bloke who was sacked from BC Rich for taking things just that bit too far.*
(* Did he actually come from BC Rich? They really do have some similarities.)
I've heard worse from the tonewood crowd in this forum.
Ain't that the truth!
And about the colour of guitar cables...or the colour of guitars, for that matter...
