I love my sonos - I don't have Alexa although my son does and it has recognised what i was playing (when I was at his house) on more than one occasion so I kinda like it too

I sold my £4k Naim separates when I got the Sonos...

I've got the Sonos One with Alexa. It's in the kitchen and is truly awesome.  I can ask it to play songs and also choose to stream them from the Sonos app. Works seamlessly. Only using a Amazon Prime subscription.

How is the system setup?  Sony’s Bridge to router and Sonus Speakers talking to the bridge? Easy Peary and total control from iPad or smartphone. Can’t understand why your system does not work OP....

Sonos and I often fall out, like my other relationships, apparently it's always my fault. E.g. don't put Spotify via Alexa as it will stop on Sonos when someone in another room does something, make sure your music library is somewhere it easily understands (not on my NAS in other words), annoying update messages are my callousness etc. etc.

I don’t really get them.  A mate gave me a demo of his and it sounded shite compared to my little 20 year old Denon system.   And you only get one speaker?   I suppose if space is an issue but a decent, compact stereo and a streaming adapter would sound miles better.

Or a pair of ilouds and a phone.

I have 2 son9s ones and a connect and I can work it fast enough to appease an impatient 2 yo.....seems alr8ght to me. I don't use Spotify or Apple devices though.
