What a talent.  His songwriting was sublime...  you think you know where its going because a million other songs have taken that path and then it just effortlessly just glides into a different direction, but it works superbly.  In Dreams is a perfect example.  What a guy.

    My dad is a massive fan so I grew up on Roy. His writing had an ethereal melancholy that makes you think he's feeling as lonely as you. Then there's his voice... what a guy.
