What's the general concenus on Reverend? I was considering an eastsider T.

Well it's chambered, and has a bigger body than traditional telecasters (4%~ bigger).

...and has the Firebird like stepped body and Greg's Fishman pickups with the voicing switch.

It is basically a Tele and big whup in many ways but a few subtle changes that work aesthetically together as a whole ( cool colours help). And Greg Koch he's pretty cool, if he endorsed a flying V shaped ukelele I'd be interested.

I like them a lot, since I bought my first one in 2017, especially the larger bodied semi-hollow models. I've now owned four, sold one - but only through lack of space...


All have been well made, played great & sound fantastic.

Bit too high for me. Resale value of Reverends seems to be pretty horrible, though, so maybe a few years down the line a good second hand one will tempt me.

Good choice of guitar. Telecasters are great and this variation on one looks really well thought out.

The fingerboard is, I believe, only in roasted maple and that looks a lot darker than the ones I’ve seen Greg pictured with. May even be just a photo shop mock up.

The fingerboard is, I believe, only in roasted maple and that looks a lot darker than the ones I’ve seen Greg pictured with. May even be just a photo shop mock up.

It's a special run with Pau Ferro fingerboards. There's a pic on his twitter with both side by side.Not saying it's NOT photoshopped ....but there definitely are some with PF boards.

Not enamoured with the guitars really but I am with Greg. Superb guitar player/bloke. Really enjoy his work
