    Does anyone else currently offer vintage spec Firebird pickups in a regular humbucker size?

    Good choice, by the way. I cannot imagine parting with mine.

  • I believe The Creamery do @Funkfingers ;

    Out of interest, what guitar is yours in? I'm looking to put it in a tele neck and hoping for a nice lead tone.

    My OCP Winterizer II is in a PRS S2 Singlecut. (I shall not bore the forum by posting another pic of it here.)

    The nearest thing that I have tried in a Telecaster was a Seymour Duncan SM-1n. Looks like a ‘bird pickup but its construction is different.

    One small consideration. The coils of a Winterizer II are positioned along the centre line of the baseplate. Hence, the neck side coil will be slightly further from the top fret than with a traditionally-sized Firebird pickup or any mini humbucker.
