Trading a orange ad15 for solid state

Hey guys first time post.
Just wondering if anyone here moved away from valve amps and had no regrets.

I've been lugging about a orange ad15 since about 2001, I don't gig and at this point hardly have time to turn it on. My go to amp is a micro cube from the same year.

In terms of upkeep /weight and sheer volume, any one moved to a solid state/digital out if sheer convenience?

I haven't quite moved away from valve amps (I have four) but I have exclusively been playing my Orange CR120H recently. It just rocks, best purchase of the year so far. I don't gig so I don't have to lug it about but it is more manageable to move around than my JTM45 and 4x12.

Well, in amp terms I wouldn't say and AD15 is much in terms of weight, volume or upkeep. I had one for years and loved it. After that I went bigger so it's all a question of perspective.
