Watched this last night. Pretty interesting how they did the CGI for the live aid scene, and the lengths they went to for detail. Having the level gauges move in time to the original master tapes seems way over the top to me but what do I know?

I thought the effort Brian Singer put into casting sessions for young lads was impressive.

Especially considering there were no roles for young lads in the movie.
